You can't run Cinebench for a couple of minutes and declare "cool's real good". It takes 1/2 to an hour to get the sustainable max temp. Think of it like heat throttaling. See http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eSOcUnn1mtQ review. Jayz, you should know better.

So, take your 300 bucks and buy a custom loop, good to know. Asus is losing my business slowly, but surely. The last move I bought was the atx b350 strix board and it died in 2 weeks and cost me having to buy another mobo and CPU to troubleshoot what was dead...

if used asus in past times, however the newer stuff has not been as quality made as back then, which is why i been running either asrock, or better gigabyte mb and graphics cards, with way less malfunctions.....2+ bills for a aio?, outta ask em to just send you the outer parts with the logo, so you can put something decent within, too bad used to be good products, but the middle and lower end stuf hasnt been up to snuff, the name just isnt worth what they think it is.....probably why they run intel cpus in most of the pre made crap, overpriced, overblown ego built under quality merchandise with a name,

Not sure why so many people are shitting on Asus for one bad product. They have fantastic mobos at the high end, very good graphics cards (again, at the high end), and the Spatha is... Ok. The small screen and the small fan is a nice touch. Noctua fans, black, also nice. Price is still too high though. Especially considering the poor quality of that cable and the loud noise of the small fan. This could just be a faulty unit though.. But I'd definitely wait for a V2 / 2nd Gen model and ofcourse for the price to come down a bit.

It would be nice to see MB manufacturers begin adding some cable management to the motherboards themselves, either pass throughs close to the cpu socket or extra circuit layers to the top of the mobo that would allow closer mounting options for fan and pwm headers. This would be difficult given the way pcbs are printed, the sheer density of leads printed into each layer of the boards, and the problems caused by self induction when high current moves over inactive leads in other layers (interference and corrupted data anybody?), and as it stands, would be a very use case specific application. However, as more enthuist and gamer focused builds are moving towards watercooling and obscenely rgb components, one or both of these features to the boards themselves would add some much more attractive options for cable management. Adding some slightly taller standoffs could even allow companies like asus to place some of these connections on the back of the mobo, hiding those non customizable, hard wired component control and power headers to a place where they would remain out of sight. As for the AIO itself, it is very disappointing that asus did not do better quality control on the header wires for the fan control splitter. It is also disappointing that they did not wrap the cables together as one bound bundle for prettier cable management. The asthetics of the block/pump/screen are quite nice with the included shroud, but the fan for the VRMs is quite loud and annoying, youd think a bit more engineering could have been invested into the acoustics of the aio. The feature was a nice addition, but without better acoustics, it kind of runs it. If someone needs the extra vrm cooling, it would have been better to make a monoblock version to achieve the same ends with better asthetics and less little girl fan scream. On a related not regarding cable management, I think it would be cool to see if one of the rgb fitting manufacturers could make some hardline with imbedded power and signal lines inside the walls of the tubing, or figure out a way to flatten the wires into something that can me stuck on to the bottom, side, or top of existing hard line. I love the idea of a seizure inducing rgb build, with rgb or UV hard line fittings to make the cooling fluids look luminous without any other lighting source (think glowing green brain goo). But all those pwm wires dangling from each fitting is annoying to say the least and is neigh impossible to manage without taking away from the asthetics of the build itself (is that a "neigh impossible" comment a cable management challenge of the year for Jay? Maybe so).

yikes $280... i'd sooner buy a Swiftech Apogee Drive II ($150ish) and a XSPC ex360 radiator ($63) and 3 Scythe Kaze Flex 120mm fans ($45). *not only cheaper*, there is a Copper radiator and far stronger pump. this will run whisper quiet with no *horrible* whine like the Asus pump head fan. this will out cool and out duel any AIO and last longer.

Are we running out of things to bitch about in the pc sphere? I mean watercooling is all but dead but jay makes it look cool and still fun. But walmart complaint videos? Nit picking aio when everyone knows aio are loud and less than custom? Bitching about refreshed cpus that are better but are the same hardware as previous gen? I dont nlame jay. Jay did not critique all i quote but i feel like youtubers are kinda nitpicking. Theres no huge conspiracy lately. Which i think is nice. So why all the hype over little differences? Its loud but water cooling pumps are silent? Meh. I completely agree the connector was shit but u can rma and recieve a complete refund and i guarantee your next connector wont be bad. i feel these videos seem manufactured with previous bias lately. Not jays fault per say. Just feels like youtube reviewers are manufacturing drama. The days of legit rip offs of high end hardware seem to be dead lately. Exception nvidia rebranding and lying. I could watch ten videos on those guys. But even that gets old

Does it come with AM4 connector bracket or just Intel. Also would you hear the fan whine be heard inside an actual computer case? Also will you compare it to other AIO products. From a cooling (performance) stance is paying almost $300 better than other high end $150 AIO brands/Units? I don't think so, the OLED screen is literally pointless unless you have your Case right on the desk otherwise why even add the expense or gimmick. I like with Kyle from BitWit did with his overview. All I got from this video was a sponsored add plug and not much information on this very expensive AIO well other than shotty production of the Ryujin.

Hello Jay and Youtube builder community. I'm trying to build my first gaming PC. I've already bought most of the parts, but was in a hurry to try to get everything during Cyber Monday (even if not all of the parts were discounted for the day), and after further research while I wait for the parts to arrive, some of the parts might not be compatible (PH-TC14PE_BK) and others are apparently not all that great (Enermax T.B. 3-in-1 120 mm RGB Fans), so I was hoping for your opinions. The only thing I haven't bought yet is RAM. I'm completely open toward RGB in the build, preferably addressable, but what I'm not open to is a CLC (personal preference, don't want to even slightly risk liquid leaking on my very first, expensive build lol). So, I'd like your opinions! First off, here is my parts-list: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/CywG6s Just a preface as well: I know a 750w PSU with the build isn't optimal, the reason I purchased it is because I hope to purchase a better GPU soon. That reasoning also happens to go into the purchase of the monitor. Some items i'm looking into possibly buying, and would like an opinion on, is the MF120R 3-in-1 pack and either the G100M, MA620P, or MA410M (not necessarily a CM fanboy, and I'm completely open to alternatives). So, please, help me out, y'all! :)
